Registration
Would you like to take part in the 4Days Marches as part of a civilian group? Starting in 2026, participants must register individually. After registration closes, groups can be formed up until June 5. To do so, please contact the Service Desk (info@4daagse.nl).
Forming a Civilian Group
A civilian group consists of a minimum of 11 and a maximum of 41 participants. Once enough people have purchased a ticket, the group’s contact person should get in touch with the Service Desk. Please include the following information:
- the name of the contact person
- the number of participants
- the name of the group
- the chosen distance
The Service Desk will then create the group online and explain how to add participants to it. Contact persons can find an overview in their Dashboard and only need to provide the group number when registering. Need to make changes to the group? This can be done no later than June 21 17.00 hrs CET.
Period 1: Monday 26 January (10.00 hrs CET) until Friday 6 February (17.00 hrs CET)
For young people born between 2008-2024 and for participants who have successfully completed the 4Days Marches on their regulation distance at least once in the past 10 years (2016-2025).
Period 2: Monday 9 February (10.00 hrs CET)
For everyone who wants to participate in the 4Days Marches in 2026.
Registration will close when the maximum number of participants has been reached (see Article 1, Registration Regulations). If the maximum number of participants has not been reached yet by the end of the first registration period, everyone will have a chance to register during the second period.
If you have registered and paid the registration fee, you are assured of a starting ticket for the 4Days Marches!

After the contact person has created a group, you can view it in My Dashboard.
Conditions
There are some additional conditions for participating as a civilian group. It is important that you clearly show during the 4Days Marches that you belong together! Walk together in an orderly group on all days at the same distance and wear recognizable group clothing so that your group is easily identifiable. It is the group leader’s responsibility to ensure that all conditions are met during the 4Days Marches.
You can find more information about the requirements a group must meet to participate in the 4Days Marches in the Civilian Groups Regulations.
Transferring a Ticket
If you cannot participate or decide not to join, you can transfer your ticket once the 108th 4Days Marches is sold out. To do so, you must contact the Service Desk (info@4daagse.nl).
More info
The registration fee for the 108th 4Days Marches is €120.
You do not pay the registration fee as a group, but individually. Payment is made directly during registration via the registration module on this website. After completing the payment, you will receive a confirmation email, which guarantees your participation in the 4Days Marches.
In My Dashboard, you can immediately see your registration after payment. You will also receive a confirmation email of your registration.
On the Distances page, you can check the eligibility table to determine which distance you may register for based on your age.
The minimum distance is referred to as the regulatory distance, and it is not possible to walk less than this. However, you may choose to register for a longer distance, known as the optional distance.
All participants in a civilian group must walk the same distance. For some members, this may mean walking the optional distance instead of their regulatory distance.
If you plan to participate in the 4Days Marches as a civilian group with friends, colleagues, or family, you must first appoint a contact person. This person is responsible for managing the group's registration.
In addition to a contact person, every civilian group must have a group leader. The group leader ensures the group complies with all regulations during the 4Days Marches and is responsible for the group at all times. The contact person and group leader can be the same person.
