Public transport
During the 4Days Marches, the public transport operators will do everything they can to get all walkers and visitors to and from Nijmegen. Additional buses and trains will be scheduled and extra-long trains will be running to and from the city. And all transport will run from early in the morning until late in the evening. The easiest way to get to and from Nijmegen during the 4Days Marches is by public transport. Whether you are a walker or a supporter, or are just coming for the festivities, public transport will take you right to the heart of the city.

By Bus to Nijmegen
Blarenpas
During the Four Days Marches, extra buses will run for walkers from Tuesday, July 15 through Friday, July 18. For these early buses (Vroegbussen), you need a special transport pass: the Blarenpas. All other travel passes are not valid. The OV-chipkaart is also not valid on the early buses. If you don’t have a Blarenpas, you can buy a special ticket from the driver of the early bus. Depending on the distance, the fare is €7.50 or €10.00. Routes, departure times, and prices can be found in the special brochure.
You can buy the Blarenpas on Sunday July 13 and Monday July 14 at:
- The Breng information booth at the Wedren, where you pick up your registration badge
- At some 4Daagse campsites in the region
- On all days at the Breng counter in the station hall of Nijmegen, diagonally opposite the AKO shop
Adjusted Timetable
Note: during the day, buses will run on an adjusted schedule due to the holiday period. Sometimes, buses take a different route because roads are closed for the walkers. On Friday July 18, the final day of the event, various traffic measures will be in place in Nijmegen. These will also affect the bus schedules. There will be detours and some stops will be temporarily out of service. Check the 'Disruptions and Detours' section at www.breng.nl. Plan your trip shortly before departure using a travel planner.
As soon Arriva has more information about the timetable available, you will find it on our website as well.
