A festive welcome
Friday is the day of the grand arrival on the Via Gladiola. Cheered on by around a hundred thousand spectators, the final kilometers to the finish line become a thrilling and musical celebration. Whether marching, dancing, or limping, every participant of the 4Days Marches is moved by the incredible enthusiasm along the route. The procession along the spectator-packed Via Gladiola is the highlight for both the walkers and the public. You can be there. From the grandstands on Keizer Karelplein, Oranjesingel, and Prins Bernhardstraat, watch the colorful parade of walkers pass by. Cheer them on and applaud them—because the final stretch is always the toughest. Together, we’ll make it a grand finale!
The prices for a grandstand seat range from €16.00 to €19.00. Children up to 12 years old accompanied by an adult receive a 50% discount. If you want to be guaranteed a spot among the celebrating crowd at the end of the route, tickets will be available for purchase on this page.
After purchasing your tickets, you can download them directly from your Dashboard. Log in using the email address you used when placing the order. Only these tickets (printed or digital) will be accepted as valid admission to the grandstands. Grandstands that are no longer shown are not available. View the floor plan here.
If you use a wheelchair, a limited number of spaces are available on a special grandstand. To reserve one of these spots, please contact the Service Desk. Don’t wait too long, these places usually sell out early.
Some grandstands can only be reached via the footbridge over the Oranjesingel. For safety and smooth crowd flow, this bridge operates as a one-way route. In case of large crowds, the bridge may even be temporarily closed. Make sure to be seated on the grandstand well before 13:00 hrs CET, as access may no longer be possible after that time.
Please also take different weather conditions into account: not all grandstands are covered; only K1, K2, and K3 are. There are also no catering facilities available in the grandstands, and smoking is not permitted.
Meet & Greet After the final kilometers along the Via Gladiola, the finish is at the Wedren. On Friday, this area is only accessible to our walkers. Otherwise, it would get too crowded and we could no longer guarantee your safety. For family and friends, we’ve set up a special Meet & Greet area next to the Wedren. You are more than welcome at this meeting point on Van Schevichavenstraat! Make sure to arrange to meet each other there.
Accessibility Spectators are advised to use public transport or come by bike. You can park your bicycle at the designated areas around the Wedren. Please note that using the bike parking is at your own risk. If you wish to come by car, please use the P&R facilities on the outskirts of the city.
Please note: On Friday, starting from 20:00 hrs CET, the start/finish area will be closed off and will only be accessible to walkers, authorized 4Days Marches staff, and a few local residents.
