Well rested for a good start

Are you looking for a good place to sleep during the week of the 4Days Marches? Thousands of walkers and supporters will be staying in and around Nijmegen. They will be lodging with host families, staying in hotels, bedding down at campsites or making use of one of the other accommodation options. That saves a lot of travelling back and forth each day. Less distance to travel to the start in the morning and in the afternoon, you’re home earlier to recover from a long day’s walk. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Vierdaagsebed discontinued

Tourism Veluwe Arnhem Nijmegen has announced that the Vierdaagsebed platform will be discontinued after many years. The platform offered walkers an affordable, personal accommodation option during the Four Days Marches, made possible by committed local residents. It is currently being explored whether another party can take over and continue the initiative. At this time, it is not yet certain whether this will be successful. The platform will remain online until the 108th 4Days Marches.

Where can I find alternative accommodation?

Walkers can find accommodation during the Four Days Marches at hotels, B&Bs, campsites, and holiday parks in and around Nijmegen. Hotels and camping sites offer special  4Days Marches packages, and there are even dedicated 4Days Marches campsites. More information can be found at www.visitnijmegen.com.
