Well rested for a good start
Are you looking for a good place to sleep during the week of the 4Days Marches? Thousands of walkers and supporters will be staying in and around Nijmegen. They will be lodging with host families, staying in hotels, bedding down at campsites or making use of one of the other accommodation options. That saves a lot of travelling back and forth each day. Less distance to travel to the start in the morning and in the afternoon, you’re home earlier to recover from a long day’s walk. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Vierdaagsebed
Vierdaagsebed has been connecting walkers of the 4Daagse with welcoming accommodation hosts for over twenty years, ensuring they have an affordable and personal place to stay. After many years as part of Toerisme Veluwe Arnhem Nijmegen (TVAN), the initiative was transferred in 2026 to young entrepreneur Jet Beers:
"We will do everything we can to preserve and further develop the feeling of a warm, familiar, and carefree stay. Especially in this wonderful region, hospitality should always come first — with respect for tradition and an eye on the future."
Those who would like to register this year as a host family or a walker can get in touch via info@vierdaagsebed.nl.
Where can I find alternative accommodation?
Walkers can find accommodation during the Four Days Marches at hotels, B&Bs, campsites, and holiday parks in and around Nijmegen. Hotels and camping sites offer special 4Days Marches packages, and there are even dedicated 4Days Marches campsites. More information can be found here.
