The 1,275 enthusiastic participants of the Four Days Marches Sponsored Walk have raised more than €1.3 million this year. An enormous achievement, made possible by the dedication of all the walkers. The funds will be distributed among 33 different charities, enabling them to continue their important work.

Just like last year, the largest amount was raised by Grandpa Bert for the Butterfly Child Foundation, with more than €37,000. The foundation supports his granddaughter Danielle and others living with the rare skin disease EB. "I do it with love, for her."

"Since the launch of the Four Days Marches Sponsored Walk in 2011, more than €8 million has already been raised for over 300 charities. With this impressive result, the 4Daagse for charities proves to be the best-performing event of all Dutch fundraising events that are not dedicated to a single specific cause (such as the Roparun and Alpe d’HuZes).
