Memorial service Groesbeek

On 5 May 1947 the Canadian military cemetery in Groesbeek was opened by the then reigning Queen of the Netherlands, Wilhelmina. Many young Canadian soldiers who have given their lives for the liberation of the Netherlands in the Second World War are buried here.
During the Four Days Marches, on the third day, the route will lead along the Canadian military cemetery, and the military participants will then commemorate their colleagues from the Second World War during an impressive ceremonial gathering.

More information about the memorial service in Groesbeek will be published on this page in due time.
