Highest number of registrations on first day

On Monday 12 February, at 10:00 hrs CET, the sale for the 4Days Marches of 2024 started, featuring a renewed registration system in collaboration with ticketing partner Atleta. The launch went smoothly, and the results and reactions are very positive. On the first day, an astonishing 15,643 enthusiastic walkers were successfully registered.

Historical milestone

This number of registrations on the first day marks a historical milestone for the event. Previously, the highest number of registrations was achieved in 2019 with 13,495 participants. That's now more than 2000 more. Chairman Henny Sackers is pleased with this result: "This record underscores the enduring popularity of the 4Days Marches and the success of the new registration process, in collaboration with Atleta."

Atleta was present at the office of Stichting DE 4DAAGSE yesterday to monitor the first registrations. Bert Cocu, CEO Atleta BV, stated: "Over the past few months, together with the 4Days Marches team, we have made tremendous efforts to offer the large number of participants the most user-friendly registration process possible. We are very happy that both young and older participants managed to secure a starting ticket for this fantastic event."

Debutants

At the moment, anyone who has previously successfully completed the 4Days Marches at a regulated distance can register. Children born in the years 2006-2012 can also secure a ticket. From Monday 4 March at 10:00 hrs CET, other interested participants can also register for the walking performance tour.

The organization is confident that there will be tickets available for debutants. Henny Sackers stated: "In the past, we have observed that after the first registration period, a considerable number of tickets remain available for new participants. To offer our walkers even more flexibility, we are introducing the option to transfer your ticket this year. This way, we want to ensure that as many people as possible can participate in the 4Days Marches of 2024 and share the unique experience of the walking event."

Ticket transfer will be implemented once the 4Days Marches is sold out and is possible until 31 May 17:00 hrs CET.
