Story of Wipneus and Pim
"Amazing, every time."
The 4Days Marches Foundation has today introduced its refreshed corporate identity. With a new brand logo, a colourful contemporary palette and a bright visual identity, the organisation is giving its rich tradition a look that fits the future.
The new corporate identity was unveiled during the 108th edition of the 4Daagse. With this change, the DE 4DAAGSE Foundation is taking a step forward in the ongoing development of the world’s largest multi-day walking event.
The 4Daagse has been a household name in the Netherlands and far beyond for over a century. The redesigned corporate identity reflects this history, whilst also giving the brand a fresher, more consistent look that is better suitable for digital channels, event materials and other communications. As part of this, the organisation is moving away from the red, white and blue of the Dutch flag, with the colours of the original 4Daagse flag finding their place in the new logo.
March leader Henny Sackers: “The 4Daagse has a rich history and, at the same time, continues to evolve. With this new look, we’re showing who we are and where we want to go: recognisable to everyone who holds the 4Daagse close to their hearts, and ready for the future.”
The new visual identity will be rolled out gradually over the coming months. Participants, volunteers, partners, media and supporters will soon see the new style featured on the website, in the app, on social media and during upcoming editions
Carien Franken, owner of Bureau Visuele Vertalingen: “The challenge was to translate what has made the 4Daagse special for generations into a contemporary visual identity – a visual language that connects tradition, achievement, unity and pride.”
The redesigned corporate identity reflects what the 4Daagse brings together: tens of thousands of walkers, thousands of volunteers and a huge number of supporters who, together, form part of a tradition that keeps moving.
As we move towards the 109th edition, the new design will become increasingly visible in all communications from the DE 4DAAGSE Foundation.
