Free bicycle shelters near Wedren
If you travel by bike to start and finish location the Wedren you can park your bike in the big bicycle shelter at the Fort Kijk in de Potstraat. A limited number of motorbikes can be parked in the shelter. Use of the bike stand is at your own risk.
The bicycle shelter is free of charge for participants of the Four Days Marches. On Sunday and Monday you may make use of the bicycle shelter free of charge when you show your confirmation. On the walking days you need to show your barcode carrier (wrist band) of the 100st Four Days Marches to be admitted.
When you park your bike outside the bicycle shelter there is the risk that it will be removed due to the availability of the Wedren for emergency services. From June onwards you can find a map of the start and finish location at the website page Service - Downloads.
The City Council of Nijmegen has opened a website on the Four Days Marches for its inhabitants, visitors and walkers. All relevant and useful information can be found on these pages the entire month of July. On the website you can find information on early buses and their stops, transfers and road blocks.
Renting a bike
If you are you thinking about renting a bike during the week, don't wait too long with making a reservation. The number of available bicycles is limited. Near Nijmegen Central Station you can rent a bike from Ovelo and the NS (OV-fiets). At the Waalkade, you can find Fietsverhuur Nijmegen.
