4D Follow me - 2012

Once again this year, Four Days Marches participants can take advantage of a package of extra services during the Four Days Marches, enabling the people at home to track them en route by text message, through social media and live at www.4dfollowme.nl.
Walkers will need a ChampionChip in order to take advantage of this package.

What do I get with this package?

1. Three text messages sent to a mobile number of your choice every day.
2. Messages automatically sent to your Facebook page and/or Twitter account when you start and finish.
3. People can track you in real time on a route map at www.4dfollowme.nl.
4. Videos will be recorded every day at several locations along the route. These personal videos can be viewed at www.4dfollowme.nl and ordered on DVD after the Four Days Marches at www.marathon-photos.com (a fee will apply for the latter).
The service package costs € 4.

Friends and family at home can follow you along the route and you also contribute to four days of pleasant and safe walking of the participants of the Four Days Marches. By wearing the chip you provide the organisation information about the traffic on the routes. This information allows the organisation to take action when necessary. For example when an obstruction is likely to occur or when more people need to be available at the resting places. For this reason, all participants in groups and detachments and the participants of the project Via Vierdaagse will be equipped with a ChampionChip by the organisation.
