Friday 13 April - 4896 walkers excluded by draw for Four Days Marches

This morning, the draw took place to allocate the available starting tickets for the 96th Four Days Marches under supervision of a notary, Mr. H. Oosterdijk. The total number of registrations for the 96th Four Days Marches was 49,896. This means that 4896 people will be disappointed. All participants in the draw will receive the results today via e-mail. Friday 6 April - Registration period 96th edition Four Days Marches is closed; draw is inevitable

With one more day to go, on Wednesday night we counted 49,305 registrations. The registration period for the 96th Four Days Marches is closed since last night 24.00hrs. The next few days we will check the last registrations, double registrations will be removed and everything will be counted again. In the week of 9 April, the final number of the registrations will be announced. What is clear is that a draw is unfortunately inevitable. On Friday, 13 April a draw by lot will take place.

Saturday 3 March - 2012 - Interest in Four Days Marches still high

Interest in taking part in the International Four Days Marches Nijmegen is still as high as ever. During the first registration period, some 26,538 walkers signed up for a guaranteed starting ticket for the 96th edition, which will be held from 17 to 20 July 2012.
The Ministry of Defence's transfer of military participant registration to Stichting DE 4DAAGSE has gone smoothly, and the € 8 registration fee increase (putting the fee at € 48 for this year) has not had a negative effect on the number of registrations so far.

Wednesday 4 January 2012 - rules and regulations online

From today, the rules and regulations for the 96th Four Days Marches can be viewed on the website. The walking event will take place this year from 17 July - 20 July. The first registration period will start on Monday 6 February. In the Restriction Protocol is written, among other things, when the registration periods begin, who is eligible to register in which period and what will happen if the registration limit of 45,000 participants will be exceeded. Friday, 5 August 2011 - succesful 95th Four Days Marches
