Where shall we meet on the last day?

After the final exhausting but festive kilometres on the Via Gladiola, cheered on by the crowds along the route, the finish on Friday will be at the Wedren.

Entry Grandstands

On the St. Annastraat, Oranjesingel and along the Keizer Karelplein stands will be set up for the Entry on Friday. Ticketsale for the stands for the Entry on Friday will be organised by Keizer Karel Podia. In june and july you will find more information on the website www.ticketsnijmegen.nl about the forward ticketsale ('kaartverkoop' - tel. 0031-24-3221100).

Safety

The interest of the public at the Wedren on Friday appeared to be huge the last few years and because of this the safety of the walker and the employees could no longer be guaranteed.

Especially on Friday afternoon, when the participants come to collect their well-earned reward after a successful march, the walkers concern us more than the public. Therefore, the start and finish area will be only accessible to participants, who can enter upon showing their wristband. The police and a team of Four Days Marches stewards will supervise the disperse. The organisation counts on the cooperation of the walkers and the public.

Meet & Greet

To accommodate the participants that still need to finish a separate area has been set up for walkers and their supporters: Meet & Greet. The Meet & Greet is the area where participants can meet their family and friends after having received their reward on Friday afternoon.
At the Meet & Greet area there will be several stands which supply the walkers with drinks and snacks. Live music can be enjoyed as well. This little after-party of the Four Days Marches links up to the final festivities in down town Nijmegen.
So: when you are to be picked up by your supporters on Friday afternoon, please arrange to meet them at the Meet & Greet!
